Qualifications -NVQ Level 3 in Child Care.

I am a mother myself to two children both who are now at school. My journey in childcare started when I first left school completing an apprenticeship in childcare at 15 years old. I have worked at Small Wonders since 2018. I am based in the Under Two’s. My main passion is working with children at the beginning of their learning. Seeing a child develop from non-verbal cues to beginning to form words is so rewarding. I have always enjoyed caring for children and forming strong bonds with them throughout their time at nursery. Each child becomes a part of my time at work and I love that I become a part of their learning journey.

Shannon W

Qualifications; NVQ Level 3.

have worked for Small Wonders since September 2016! I started off as cover for maternity leave and I haven’t left since, its such a welcoming and homely environment to work in. I love watching the children learn and grow every day. My passion is literacy which has led me to become the Pre-School Room Leader. I love looking at letters of the alphabet with the children, teaching them what each letter is. We often spend afternoons finding words and objects which start with the letter of the day. I also enjoy writing with the children and seeing them learn how to form letters within their names. There’s nothing better than seeing the accomplishment of the children when they learn how to write their name.
